Making vehicles safer and smarter usually means fitting additional technology post manufacture. Security systems, telematic solutions, In-Cab and external CCTV require skilled engineers to ensure it is installed correctly and safely.

The majority of qualified in-vehicle technology installers are independent and run their own diary systems, dealing directly with their own clients. This was making it virtually impossible for any technology provider specialising in vehicle solutions to recruit and manage their own nationwide field engineering team.

Diareyes was established in 2004 by cofounders, Richard and Denise to eliminate the headache of matching customer’s availability, engineers schedules and getting equipment to site, to create a stress free managed solution that works for clients, customers and engineers.

Having extensive experience in the service industry, they knew how cumbersome, inflexible and operationally inefficient, legacy field engineering administration systems are, creating customer frustration.

Working with developers, they designed a new system where customers’ requirements are dynamically matched with the appropriately trained engineer, using algorithms to match location, skillset and required time.

Diareyes has its own directly employed engineers together with independent engineers to provide coverage and quality of skillset across the UK. The system synchronises with the independent engineer’s diaries, allowing scheduling to take place seamlessly without impacting the engineer’s own schedule or having to contact them to confirm. The system is paper free and optimises engineers travel time, reducing costs and impact on the environment.

This is proving to be game changing and Diareyes, having recently completed their one millionth job are used by leading brands in the vehicle telematics and security sector to provide high quality engineering resource across the UK including multiple fleet installations involving several thousand vehicles at a time.
